Honestly, there is no comparison in effectiveness. Forget the concentration. It's the chemistry that works.

Dinotefuron does not work as well as Fipronil and has nowhere near the transfer ability that Fipronil has. For drywood termites, using Fipronil would be my only choice unless there is a concern about environmental issues.

If environmental issues are your primary concern, then use Alpine… See full answer »

The Alpine Foam product is a 20 oz can. The expansion rate is 25 to 1 (25:1). However, this does not calculate into weight, only the rate at which the foam expands. The best way to explain this is to figure that if 1 oz treats 1 inch that it will then treat 25 inches once it expands.

We usually get around 5 gallons of finished foam per can which means you could fill a 5 gallon pail with 1 can.

How far this takes you is up to how much you apply. There is no exact answer on this. Trial and error is the only way to figure it out… See full answer »

Hi There, I wonder if it is possible to ship this product to Singapore? See more »

No, Alpine Foam is an aerosol product and cannot be shipped by air - which is the only way to ship it. Any of the non-aerosol products can be shipped.

This product is not labeled to be used on Trees, so I can't make any specific recommendation. Here is a link to the label - https://epestcontrol.com/images/Produ...

The product I recommend is Dominion Tree and Shrub. https://www.epestcontrol.com/pest-pro...

It is labeled to be used on Trees and should probably remedy the problem depending on the insect you are targeting. It will not do anything for rot, mold or fungus.

“This foam did the trick for some carpenter ants that took up residence over our garage. I drilled 2 1/4" holes and sprayed it in. After a day, the only ants we noticed coming from there seemed very slow and disoriented. A couple days later we didn't notice any. So much more value than hiring someone to come do the exact same thing.”
