Yes, you can use CB Foggers to "bomb" an attic. There are 2 issues - 1) The mist may be sucked out of the attic by roof turbines or vents 2) The CB 80 fogger contains Pyrethrin which has no residual. It will only last a few minutes. So depending on what you are trying to kill it may not be the solution or work at all. Dusts such as Timbor or Deltadust are recommended for attic applications.

We live in a 4 story row house. On two of the floors the moths keep reappearing in the rooms and hallways. We will usually see 1 or 2 at a time in a room but not consistently and sometimes when we think the problem is over after a deep vacuum/clean they will reappear albeit after a few days and in smaller quantities. We thought it may be the vents and covered them and that seemed to help a bit. One of the rooms is a bedroom and has an old mattress, another has a sofa, the other is empty. Wood floors mostly with a few are rugs. Considering using a fogger but will it kill the larvae? Much appreciated! See more »

I need to know the species of moth or what it looks like. These could be food borne pests or they could be cloth type moths that feed on fabrics. They are treated differently.

The CB Pyrethrin fogger is a total release fogger. Some people call it a "bomb". One can will treat a 25' x 25" room with an 8' ceiling. For a normal size home around 2,000 square feet, we recommend 2-3 foggers. The reason is that the rooms and hallways need to get adequately fogged, and only using 1 fogger will not result in all areas being properly treated…

we have too many sugar ants and a few winged ants in hte kitchen. I spray home pest control all the time so I figure it is time to fog the attic. How do I make the fogging most effective -- how do I drive the bugs from their breeding areas. See more »

First off, fogging will not kill ants. It may kill a few workers, but not all, and will not kill the queens or the nest. Secondly, if you you fog the attic or use any repellent pesticide (most foggers contain pyrethrum that is very repellent to insects and ants), it will cause the ants to get very active, and possibly "bud" or divide the colony into several new colonies. This is the number 1 rule and why you should never spray pesticides indoors for ants.

What I would highly recommend is to #1 - determine what species of ants you have. #2 - use a baiting strategy using either an indoor gel bait such as Advion Ant Gel, Gourmet Ant Gel, etc, or use the KM Ant Pro System outdoors to get control and eliminate all ants… See full answer »

It's not that easy. Termites in the cabinets are actually kind of rare depending on where you live. It could also be powder post beetles. Foggers will not kill either of theses insects. They are only good for flying insects and some crawling insects such as cockroaches.

We have a great page on this subject here - http://www.epestsupply.com/bugs-insec...

Unless you live in Florida and get no seeums, or Texas and get chiggers, if you can't see them, it probably is not an insect......

Foggers won't work on something like this. You have to identify what the pest / insect is and then treat that specific problem.

To be perfectly honest, no. Mites require a much broader treatment plan. How do you know you have mites?

Typically an aerosol product has to be shipped by ground. It cannot be shipped air. In most cases, products like this are shipped Fedex ground. If you want to know exactly how it will be shipped, you will need to contact our shipping dept at 855-553-7378. They are happy to help you.

Using foggers in an attic will probably do nothing wasps. The only way to kill wasps is the eliminate their nests. This may require physically spraying the nests to kill them.

the label says to not reenter the building or structure for 2 hours and then let air out for 30 minutes. A similar product is CB 80 which says to vacate for 15 minutes and then air out. Total time less than 20-30 minutes. CB 80 has almost the same ingredients. I have attached links to the labels for both. How long you vacate is really up to you.
My opinion is that 15 minutes may be the total time that any of these products work (airborne) and as long as you can't smell anything and the area has been aired out thoroughly, that's all your gonna get. A residual spray with a product like Demand CS would probably work better at killing insects.
