Outdoors, yes. It will kill most species of beetles and is perfectly ok to apply to lawns, trees and shrubs.

Indoors, no. This product is not labeled or designed to be used indoors period. Do not affix to a water hose and apply indoors.

If you need specific indoor carpet beetle control products let me know.

All pesticides will "dilute" to some extent when exposed to rain. Triazicide, is no exception. The best that you can hope for is that once you apply it, it kills whatever is there. If you get lucky enough to have any residual, that' great. You get to wait a few days or week before applying it again.

Depending on what you are trying to control, usually 2 or more applications is needed. This is true with all outdoor insecticides. You not have to kill the adults, but also wait for eggs to hatch and then kill the immature stages as well. Rain won't calculate into this much, unless you apply it, and then it rains and rains and rains, and really does wash the Triazicide away… See full answer »

Yes, Triazicide will kill adult fleas and flea larvae outdoors only. It is a very broad spectrum insecticide designed to kill a wide variety of insects.

FYI - Triazicide is not considered professional use, and is strictly a retail product. It is probably 60% effective against fleas outdoors in my opinion. It must be applied every 14 -21 days or until the fleas are no longer a problem.

For control of difficult flea infestations outdoors, consider a professional quality insecticide used by the pros. Bifenthrin is very popular and is sold as Talstar See full answer »

An hour on the internet, and all I get is you can let pets go out on the lawn, "after it dries". The product label says the same thing. So, how long, after spraying, does it take Triazicide to dry?

Before going out, wait 1 hour, 12 hours, 1 day, etc to be safe for kids and pets? See more »

Any insecticide such as this is usually safe once dried. That could be 30 minutes, it could be several hours. Since it is water based, it actually depends on how fast it takes the water to dry. The rule of thumb is once dry its usually safe.

If you spray the spider directly, yes it will die. However, once it has dried, if the spider walks across it, it will have no effect, as most insecticides will not kill spiders this way. The microencapsulated insecticides such as Demand CS and Suspend SC will have a better chance of killing spiders once they have dried. The microencapsulated particles will stick to their legs, and then eventually kill them.

Triazicide is not a garden spray for vegetables or edible plants. It is for turf and ground areas only but not anything edible. Once dry it is safe for pets and people to return to those areas.

It depends on what you spray and how you apply it. If you keep it down low and only treat the grass, then the effect on butterflies is marginal. But to answer your question, this product is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide and will kill any insect that it contacts.

There are a lot of misconceptions about Organic or Natural Insecticides too. If an insecticide is designed to kill insects, regardless of what it is, then that means it is "non-selective" and will kill all insects. All Organic insecticides currently on the market are like this. They will kill any insect, but are just less persistent in the environment.

This product is a concentrate. It is applied using a water hose. Simply attach the water hose, set the mix ratio on the top of the bottle and spray away. It is for outdoor use only. Here is a link to the Spectracide website - http://www.spectracide.com/Products-a...

Spectracide Triazicide is not going to control wood boring beetles. If the beetles are Ash Borers, then you will need a SYSTEMIC insecticide such Merit or Dominion 2L. These products will absorb through the root system and dispurse through the trunk and into the limbs. Spectracide won't do this. It is for topical control only. It kills on contact, but has no systemic activity.

Well, it definitely is not designed for indoor use. Outdoors only. The good news is the the active ingredient, Gamma Cyhalothrin is the same active used in Optimate CS, so it probably won't do much harm. My concern would be the water and the amount applied if used with a water hose. Sounds like more of a mess with water logged carpets than a health issue.

If you are uneasy about it, have the carpets steam cleaned and extracted. If the padding is wet, replace the pad, and clean the carpets.
