CONTRAC Meal Bulk with single-feeding anticoagulant, Bromadiolone has proven bait acceptance because of its appetizing meal formulation.

CONTRAC Meal Bulk is an excellent clean-out and maintenance bait to control mice and rats, including warfarin-resistant Norway rats. While being the least weatherable bait form, rodents accept meal bait because of its food-grade ingredients, seeds and grains, which gives rodents a variety of textures and flavors. A single nights feeding will be a lethal dose for rodents.

CONTRAC Meal Bulk Features:
  Contains the active ingredient, Bromadiolone
The antidote, Vitamin K, is readily available
Death occurs a few days after bait is consumed

CONTRAC Meal Bulk Uses/Applications:
This product may only be applied to active burrows to control Norway rats, and roof rats within 100 feet of buildings and man-made structures constructed in a manner so as to be vulnerable to commensal rodent invasions and/or to harboring or attracting rodent infestations provided that infestations of these rodents have been confirmed. Efforts should be made to remove food trash, garbage, clutter and debris. Bait must be placed no less than 6 inches into active Norway/roof rat burrows. Do not broadcast bait.

Determine areas where rats and/or house mice will most likely find and consume bait. Generally these are along walls, by gnawed openings, in or beside burrow, in corners and concealed places, between floors and walls, or in locations where rodents or their signs have been seen. Protect bait from rain and snow. Remove as much alternative food as possible.

Rats: Apply 3-16 oz of bait at intervals of 15-30 feet apart per placement. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for 10 days or until signs of rat activity stop.

House Mice: Apply 1/4-1/2 oz (1-2 level tablespoons) of bait per placement at 8-12 foot intervals. Larger placements (up to 2 oz) may be needed at points of very high mouse activity. maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 15 days or until signs of mouse activity cease.

Follow-up: Replace contaminated or spoiled bait immediately. Wearing waterproof gloves, collect and properly dispose of all visible dead animals and leftover bait. To discourage reinfestation, limit sources of rodent food, water, and harborage as much as possible. If reinfestation does occur. Repeat treatment. For a continuous infestation, set up permanent bait stations and replenish as needed.
