DrainGel - Professional Strength Bacterial Drain Treatment Uses / Applications:
A must for restaurants, food service facilities, bars or anywhere flies are a constant problem.

For initial service 4 ounces per drain every three days for a week. For maintenance 4 ounces per month in residential drains, every 2 weeks in commercial drains such as restaurants.

Simply pour fly gel into sinks drains, floor drains or anywhere fruit flies, phorid flies, drain flies, gnats etc. are breeding. DrainGel fly gel is a thick gel that adheres to the surface of the drain. Kills flies and stops them from breeding.

The most effective method of correcting these problems is to remove the organic material. Treating these problems with ordinary drain cleaners, hot water, detergents, bleach, or ammonia is ineffective. The most effective solution is the use of a highly concentrated biological product with specially selected bacteria strains.

DrainGel - Professional Strength Bacterial Drain Treatment Target Pests:
Flies, fruit flies, phorid flies, drain flies, gnats etc.

These flies come out of the overflow of our sink but are much larger than "drain flies" as these ones are nearly 1/4" in length. They are easy to catch and kill but whenever you make contact even with their wings, a jet black smudge comes off. Never saw one before this year. And we just had the drain cleaned yesterday. What kind of flies are they?

If they are coming out of the drain, then they are probably some fly associated with drains or moisture such as phorid fly, moth fly, etc.

The best thing to do is to use Drain Gel and keep the drains treated regularly, and then also use screens over the drains.

I have an infestation of fruit flies in our RV. I would like to use this product in all drains, kitchen, bathroom sinks, and toilet. However, I would like to know if it can safely be used down drains leading to a septic system? See more »

Drain gel is designed for use in commercial kitchens, primarily drains that are scummed over, and where scum or organic material can harbor flies.

Most of the time, fruit flies are not a problem in drains. However fungus gnats, and phorid flies and drain flies can be a problem.

You need to be certain which fly you are dealing with, because they all originate from different sources.

If this product can be used down the garbage disposal how would I go about doing so? See more »

Drain Gel is safe for garbage disposals. Simply pour a small amount into the disposal and let sit overnight. It will dissolve away organic matter that is trapped in the lines of the disposal. For best results, use nightly.
